Goa Khabar:Residents of Mapusa are welcomed to prepare themselves for a new flavour in town. Mayur Punjab Bar & Restaurant has launched their new venture, City Food Court today. City Food Court is located at Alfran House, Behind Cine Alankar, Mapusa – Goa.
Shri. Joshua Peter D’Souza (MLA, Mapusa) inaugurated City Food Court. Shri. Glen Ticlo (MLA, Aldona) and Shri. Ryan Braganza (Chairperson, Mapusa Municipal Council) also graced the event.
City Food Court brings the concept of a family-centric food court to Mapusa. City Food Court has eight food counters where customers can choose from various cuisines like Goan, Chinese, Mughlai, Arabic, South Indian for their next meal. Patrons can also help themselves to the best of chaat, authentic Tibetan Momos, ice creams and milkshakes for their snack and dessert cravings.
“Mayur Punjab Bar & Restaurant was originally founded by my father in the mid-70s. We have been one of Mapusa’s iconic eateries since the mid-70s, serving Mughlai, Tandoori and Chinese delicacies to our loyal customers” said Shri. Parminder Singh, proud owner of the joint. His wife and co-owner, Smt. Shalu Chadha added, “We decided to bring something new to the city for customers to experience once the effects of the pandemic have ceased. At City Food Court, there is something for everyone of all ages under one roof – from the well-stocked bakery to the equally well-stocked bar.”
