Day one featured traditional Shigmo dances, storytelling on mythical\u00a0rakhondars\u00a0(protectors)\u00a0and the seven sisters and craft activities for children by Bookworm, a local community bookstore. Performances included the Kaustubha Ballet, the\u00a0dekhni\u00a0dance and music by Sound of Music, with Goan\u00a0fado\u00a0singer Sonia Sirsat and the Stuti Choir delivering a memorable musical collaboration. Residents from various city wards, especially those from heritage homes and blocks, actively participated in planning the festival.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Festa do Povo showcased a diverse range of cuisines, including Goan-Portuguese, Hindu Saraswat, and Muslim specialities, prepared by local home chefs, Panaji residents and culinary experts from across Goa. Joining them were international chefs and renowned restaurants, contributing to a vibrant culinary spread that celebrated Goa\u2019s rich diversity. A dedicated feni bar and beverage counter highlighted local beverages, enhancing the festive ambiance.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99319\" src=\"https:\/\/goakhabar-com.preview.jikut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/19.12.24-260x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"260\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/19.12.24-260x300.jpg 260w, https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/19.12.24.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 260px) 100vw, 260px\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Children and adults attending the festival could also play and revel in the newly constructed skating rink and test their skills at an artificial rock climbing wall, which was erected at the venue.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A key attraction of the festival was an art exhibition displaying works by 20 artists, seamlessly merging creations from seasoned professionals and aspiring art students to celebrate Goa\u2019s artistic spirit.
