Organised by the Vasco sports club, the SKF Goa river marathon has been considered one of the most popular marathon races in India.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Septuagenarian marathoner, Bhasker Desai (72) of Mumbai, who has not missed a single edition of the Goa river marathon said, \u201cIt is easily the most scenic race route in India. Traffic is controlled along the entire course. The food and post race arrangements are great. We always have fun after the race, dancing to the live band.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Neera, who has a personal best time of 1:35 hrs for a half marathon said, \u201cI love the beaches in Goa.
