This unique venue, once used to incarcerate severely sentenced inmates during the Portuguese regime, will now serve as a place for daily screenings of two short documentaries highlighting Goa&#8217;s rich history and culture.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Starting June 1, \u2018The Aguad Cinema\u2019 will feature two documentaries: \u2018Freedom Movement of Goa\u2019 (14 minutes) and \u2018Forts of Goa\u2019 (19 minutes), screened alternately from 10 am to 8 pm each day.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2018Freedom Movement of Goa\u2019\u00a0delves into the relentless struggle and sacrifices of Goa&#8217;s freedom fighters in their quest to liberate the region from Portuguese rule.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-93845\" src=\"https:\/\/goakhabar-com.preview.jikut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/01.06-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"286\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2018Forts of Goa\u2019\u00a0offers a visually stunning exploration of Goa&#8217;s majestic forts, showcasing their architectural grandeur and historical significance, and highlighting the strategic roles they played in defending and shaping Goa\u2019s history.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThe Aguad Cinema adds a profound historical context to the viewing experience, enhancing the impact of the films.
