Goa Khabar:<\/strong>\u00a0The Surfing Federation of India (SFI), the governing body for the sports of Surfing and Stand-Up Paddling in the country, officially launched the fifth edition of the Indian Open of Surfing, a premier national surfing competition, in the presence of the Vice President of the Federation, Mr. Rammohan Paranjape. Scheduled to take place from May 31 to June 2 at the picturesque Sasihithlu Beach in Mangalore, the three-day event will be organized by the Surfing Swami Foundation and hosted by the local Mantra Surf Club under the aegis of SFI. Among the dignitaries present at the event were Mr. Mullai Muhilan, M P, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada; Dr. Venkata Ramana Akkaraju, Chairman of the New Mangalore Port Authority; and Mr. Gaurav Hegde, Director of the Surfing Swami Foundation.<\/p>\n Continuing its record of attracting top corporate sponsorship for the Indian Open of Surfing, the organizers also announced the New Mangalore Port Authority as the new Title sponsor for this edition, while Karnataka Tourism has joined hands as event partners for the fifth consecutive year. The renowned Cycle Pure Agarbatti has also been roped in as the \u2018Powered by\u2019 sponsor, while Explurger has come onboard as a Social Media App partner exclusively for the very first time to empower the event.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have eagerly awaited the moment to announce our partnership with the 5th Indian Open of Surfing.
