He was speaking at an interaction with the media and festival delegates organised by PIB at IFFI 53 in Goa today.<\/p>\n<p>Sudipto Sen added that Sankardeva emerged not only as a Bhakti Saint but also as a phenomenal writer and musician. He also helped devise a new literary language called Brajvali.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/gurujana-1CZO3.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Director\u00a0<em>Sudipto Sen\u00a0<\/em>at the\u00a0<em>\u2018IFFI Table Talk\u2019\u00a0<\/em>at the 53rd IFFI, Goa<\/p>\n<p>The celebrated filmmaker observed that he felt that there is a lack of awareness that, our country had seen a reformist resurgence in the form of the\u00a0<em>\u2018Bhakti\u2019\u00a0<\/em>movement a few centuries even before the European Renaissance.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing the inspiration behind making\u00a0<em>Gurujana<\/em> Sudipto Sen said, \u201cI felt I needed to take Sankardeva\u2019s message to not only India but across the world.
