All rescues involved males.\u00a0<\/span>Drishti Marine, the state-appointed professional lifeguard agency has issued an advisory as fierce winds, thunderstorms and rains are likely in the state and sea conditions are expected to be rough along the coast.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-86759\" src=\"https:\/\/goakhabar-com.preview.jikut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/14.05.22-300x266.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"870\" height=\"771\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/14.05.22-300x266.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/14.05.22-1024x909.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/14.05.22-768x682.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 870px) 100vw, 870px\" \/><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">According to the alert issued by the Indian Meteorological Department, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds\u00a0are likely\u00a0at isolated places in North and South Goa. Additionally, the sea is likely to be extremely rough and may witness fast currents and high waves. Rainfall activity is expected over the next few days. Owing to the present weather conditions, red flags have been posted across all beaches under Drishti\u2019s surveillance indicating that these are strictly non-swim zones.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Lifesavers\u00a0continue to monitor and patrol the beach stretches. An accident can take place at any time and our lifesavers force who are trained in first aid, CPR and AED are the first responders for any emergencies and medical interventions along the coast. Drishti Marine checks the weather forecast with the IMD on a daily basis to keep a close tab on the weather conditions.
