Is it because they give you kickbacks to BJP and CM?- Sandesh Teleikar Dessai<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Goa Khabar:<\/strong>AAP Sr VP Sandesh Teleikar Dessai today demanded to know why CM Sawant had not arrested officials involved in the recent corruption scandal in the Mutation and Partition Dept of the South Goa Collectorate. Sandesh asked whether this inaction was due to any kickbacks given to him by the accused? Sandesh pointed out that as Home Minister Sawant has Vigilance and the Anti-Corruption Dept under him yet he has not filed any cases against those accused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sandesh highlighted that this issue was brought forward by South Goa Advocates and it took a protest by them for the Govt to take any cognisance of the matter. Coming down strongly on the CM, Sandesh demanded to know why there were only threats of action for future cases and no action on cases that already exist. He demanded to know what would happen to the bribes already collected by corrupt officials and whether Goans who were running pillar to post would ever get their money back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"471\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/18.10.2026.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-116060\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/18.10.2026.png 300w, https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/18.10.2026-191x300.png 191w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sandesh also directly took on the CM and asked him whether the reason no one had been yet arrested is because the BJP and the CM receive kickbacks from these corrupt officials. He demanded to know if any arrests of corrupt bureaucrats had been made by CM Sawant who holds the Home Portfolio. Sandesh pointed out that despite having the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Depts under him there has been pin drop silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sandesh Teleikar Dessai demanded the CM stop with false assurances and Walk the Talk on corrupt officials if he and the BJP are really serious about tackling corruption and are not taking kickbacks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>No action on officers involved in corruption in Mutation and Partition dept.
