Goa Khabar: Eligible daily wage employees of the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) were on Friday issued orders granting them Temporary Status under the Government of Goa’s Daily Wages (Grant of Temporary Status) Scheme, 2025, marking a significant step towards recognising their long-standing service and improving their job security.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Speaking on the occasion, Rohit Monserrate said that behind every clean street, well-maintained public space, and efficient civic service are workers who have served the city with dedication for many years, often without seeking recognition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He stated that the grant of Temporary Status acknowledges their years of sincere service and provides them with greater stability, dignity, and security in the workplace. Monserrate described the initiative as an important milestone in recognising the invaluable contribution of daily wage employees to the functioning of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “The strength of any institution lies in the people who serve it with commitment every single day.
