Speaking on the occasion, Rane said the addition of the MRI facility will bring advanced diagnostic services closer to the people, significantly reducing the need for patients to travel to Goa Medical College (GMC) for MRI scans. He noted that the facility will help minimise referrals, reduce travel inconvenience, and ensure quality, accessible, and affordable healthcare for residents of South Goa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Health Minister reiterated the Government’s commitment to continuously upgrading SGDH with modern medical infrastructure, with the goal of developing it into a comprehensive healthcare hub for the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During his visit, Rane also interacted with doctors, healthcare professionals, and hospital staff.
