Presented during a panel discussion alongside the 62nd Session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, the book argues that Pakistan&#8217;s internal radicalisation poses a long-term strategic threat extending beyond its borders.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Naba, the increasing radicalisation of Pakistani society, the growing influence of extremist ideologies within sections of the military, and the continued activities of terrorist groups such as the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) together create a dangerous security environment. Naba cautions that policies designed for short-term geopolitical gains can ultimately undermine national stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the book&#8217;s central concerns is the possibility of insider radicalisation within Pakistan&#8217;s nuclear establishment. Rather than focusing solely on external terrorist attacks, Naba argues that individuals influenced by extremist ideology from within state institutions may present an even greater security risk to nuclear infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The author stresses that the consequences of any instability involving Pakistan&#8217;s nuclear assets would not remain confined to South Asia. Such a crisis could trigger regional tensions, international diplomatic intervention, and potentially global security challenges.
