During the operation, police found an illegal call centre being run by Visvadipsinh Harisingh Jadav (29) of Bhavnagar, Gujarat, along with five employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police said the accused posed as loan company agents under the name &#8220;Payday&#8221; and lured US citizens by offering instant loans. Victims were allegedly asked to make payments through Apple Gift Cards, Macy&#8217;s, Green Dot MoneyPak, Razer Gold and Xbox gift cards instead of receiving loans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"340\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/17.07.26.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-113998\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/17.07.26.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/17.07.26-265x300.jpg 265w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The arrested accused are Visvadipsinh Harisingh Jadav, Vishal Singh, Himanshu Prajapati, Trushit Sawant, Mayur Sawant and Dhanraj Valera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the raid, the Cyber Crime Police seized six laptops, six headsets, one TP-Link router and six Apple iPhones, collectively valued at around \u20b98 lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operation was carried out by a team led by PI Deepak Pednekar, under the overall supervision of SP Cyber Crime Raju Raut Dessai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All six accused have been produced before the court for police custody, and further investigation is in progress.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Goa Khabar : The Goa Cyber Crime Police have busted an illegal call centre operating in South Goa and arrested six persons for allegedly cheating citizens in the United States through a fake loan scam.
