The AAP leaders saluted Karapurkars for their determination to protect and save their village as the protest entered it’s 100th day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Atishi pointed out that the BJP Govt is a govt of builders and colonisers and that the Karapur protest is the fight of every Goan against Section 39A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Section 39A is being used as a way to grab agricultural lands from Goans and hand them over to builders. Villages like Karapur with 500-800 homes are having Mega Projects with 1000s of homes thrust upon them despite public opposition. This will add strain to the natural resources of Karapur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Slamming the BJP for sanctioning the Mega Project, Atishi stated that the only people to gain from destroying Karapur’s resources will be big builders & BJP leaders not Goans. Atishi said that BJP is using Section 39A to turn Goan agricultural land into Mega Projects enriching builders and BJP politicians at the expense of Goans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Valmiki Naik said that despite 99 days of continuous protests, the BJP Government has completely ignored the genuine concerns of the people and has shown no willingness to listen to their demands.
