LL.B.\u00a0students, providing major relief to those facing progression issues.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BJP General Secretary\u00a0Siddharth Kunkalkar\u00a0said the issue was raised by the\u00a0Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM)\u00a0after students highlighted difficulties under the existing rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier, students with one or two back papers in the first or second semester were not allowed to move to the next academic year, resulting in the loss of an entire academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following representations made to\u00a0Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, Goa University issued a circular extending the\u00a0ATKT policy to law courses\u00a0for the\u00a02026\u201327 academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The decision will allow eligible students to be promoted to the next year while clearing their pending papers, ensuring they do not lose an academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kunkalkar congratulated the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha for taking up the issue and welcomed Goa University&#8217;s decision, stating that it will benefit a large number of law students across the state.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Goa Khabar :\u00a0Goa University has introduced the\u00a0ATKT (Allowed To Keep Terms) Policy\u00a0for\u00a0LL.B., B.A. LL.B., and B.Com.
