Officials found&nbsp;<strong>two establishments operating without valid food licences<\/strong>, while&nbsp;<strong>eight units<\/strong>&nbsp;were directed to immediately rectify serious hygiene violations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"340\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/03.07.26-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-113597\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/03.07.26-1.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/03.07.26-1-265x300.jpg 265w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The inspection revealed multiple lapses, including&nbsp;<strong>improper food storage, pest infestation, unsafe food handling practices, use of synthetic food colours, and inadequate waste disposal systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally,&nbsp;<strong>six establishments<\/strong>&nbsp;were penalised for violating the&nbsp;<strong>Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a separate action based on a public complaint, officials inspected a&nbsp;<strong>pork processing unit in Fatorda<\/strong>, which was found to be operating&nbsp;<strong>without FSSAI registration<\/strong>.
