Goa Khabar :\u00a0Goa Police felicitated the winners of various drug awareness competitions organised by the Anti Narcotic Police Station on the occasion of the\u00a0International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prize distribution ceremony was held at the Police Headquarters (PHQ) Conference Hall<\/strong> in the presence of IGP K.R. Chaurasia, IPS<\/strong>, DIGP Ved Prakash Surya, IPS<\/strong>, SP (ANC) Sunita Sawant<\/strong>, Nerlon Albuquerque<\/strong>, and other senior officers of Goa Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competitions included Drawing and Painting Competitions<\/strong> for students of Classes V\u2013VII and VIII\u2013X, along with an Online Slogan Competition<\/strong> and an Online Reel Competition<\/strong>, based on the theme “Nasha Mukt Bharat \/ Drug-Free India.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Drawing and Painting Competition for Classes V\u2013VII, Master Indraneel Naik<\/strong> secured the first prize, Master Desmond D’Silva<\/strong> won the second prize, and Miss Sahana Santosh Bhaip<\/strong> finished third. In the Classes VIII\u2013X category, Miss Ranjisha Gaonkar<\/strong> secured the first prize, followed by Miss Pratibha Sinha<\/strong> in second place and Miss Bhumi Mankodkar<\/strong> in third.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Online Slogan Competition, Sunny Shetye<\/strong> won the first prize, Raya Bhago Varak<\/strong> secured the second prize, and Sumedha Rama Rane<\/strong> finished third. In the Online Reel Competition, Bla Bla Bla Entertainment<\/strong> won the first prize, Harmal Panchakroshi Higher Secondary School & Institute of Vocational Studies, Harmal<\/strong> secured the second prize, while Ganesh Higher Secondary School, Mapusa<\/strong> received the third prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the gathering, IGP K.R. Chaurasia<\/strong> appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students, educational institutions and members of the public in supporting Goa Police’s anti-drug campaign. He said art, slogans and digital media are powerful tools for spreading awareness against drug abuse and promoting the message of a drug-free society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also urged citizens to report narcotics-related activities through the MANAS Helpline 1933<\/strong>, assuring that all information would be treated with complete confidentiality and the identity of informants would remain protected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
