Candavelou, IAS<\/strong>\u00a0visited the\u00a0<strong>Birth and Death Registration Unit<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0<strong>Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim<\/strong>, where he launched the\u00a0<strong>Central Civil Registration System (CRS) Portal<\/strong>\u00a0for activities related to the registration of births and deaths across the State of Goa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the programme, Dr. Candavelou presented&nbsp;<strong>birth certificates generated through the CRS Portal<\/strong>&nbsp;to the parents of newly born babies, marking the operational rollout of the new registration system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The function was organised by the&nbsp;<strong>Directorate of Planning, Statistics &amp; Evaluation (DPSE)<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>Office of the Chief Registrar of Births &amp; Death<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was attended by&nbsp;<strong>Director, DPSE, Shri Vijay Saxena<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Dean of Goa Medical College, Prof. Dr. Jai Prakash Tiwari<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Medical Superintendent of GMC, Dr. Rajesh Patil<\/strong>, along with other doctors and officials.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Goa Kahabar:\u00a0Chief Secretary\u00a0Dr. V.
