Electricity bills for the period from November 2025 to June 23, 2026 will be regenerated, with consumers being charged only the normal applicable tariff for the electricity consumed. Additional penalty components and Delayed Payment Charges (DPC) on the revised bills will also be waived.

The department has also introduced an Automatic Enhancement of Sanctioned Load for consumers who exceeded their approved load.
