The team eventually settled for Silver after a hard\u2011fought championship clash against Australia. The India B Seniors squad \u2014&nbsp;<strong>Sukamal Das, Hemant Jalan, Jitendra Solani, Anil Padhye, Rajesh Dalal and Raju Tolani<\/strong>, guided by Coach &amp; NPC&nbsp;<strong>Anal Shah<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 delivered a remarkable campaign that saw India remain in contention for the title until the closing stages of the final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">India also celebrated a&nbsp;<strong>Bronze medal in the Men\u2019s Team Championship<\/strong>, with the India A team finishing on the podium. Further success came in the&nbsp;<strong>Matchpoint Finals<\/strong>, where&nbsp;<strong>Savleen Thadani and Sadhana Gupta<\/strong>&nbsp;secured Silver in the Women\u2019s Pairs, while&nbsp;<strong>Subir Majumder and Sujit Kumar Bhattacharjee<\/strong>&nbsp;claimed Silver in the Seniors Pairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gold medals in the&nbsp;<strong>Team Championships<\/strong>&nbsp;were shared among Asia\u2019s leading bridge nations, with&nbsp;<strong>Australia winning the Seniors title<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Hong Kong China emerging champions in the Men\u2019s event<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Indonesia claiming the Women\u2019s title<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>China securing the Mixed Teams crown<\/strong>. In the&nbsp;<strong>Matchpoint Finals<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Wei Ho and Sun Wei Lee (Chinese Taipei)<\/strong>&nbsp;won the Men\u2019s title,&nbsp;<strong>Barbara Travis and Lori Smith (Australia)<\/strong>&nbsp;triumphed in the Women\u2019s event,&nbsp;<strong>Suk King Chan and Kon Wong (Hong Kong China)<\/strong>&nbsp;claimed the Mixed title, while&nbsp;<strong>Younghong Cheng and Wei Wei Tsao (Chinese Taipei)<\/strong>&nbsp;captured the Seniors crown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">India also excelled in the<strong>&nbsp;HCL Friendship Pairs,&nbsp;<\/strong>an additional event held alongside the championships.&nbsp;<strong>Arun Bapat and Ajay Khare emerged champions to win Gold<\/strong>, finishing first with 616.64 points, while&nbsp;<strong>Kamna Sharma and Abhijit Pal secured the Bronze medal<\/strong>&nbsp;with 586.82 points, adding further distinction to India\u2019s overall campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">India\u2019s campaign was marked by resilience, consistency and depth, highlighted by the Seniors\u2019 inspiring run to the final and medal\u2011winning performances across multiple disciplines.
