{"id":112749,"date":"2026-06-10T17:28:15","date_gmt":"2026-06-10T11:58:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/?p=112749"},"modified":"2026-06-10T17:28:16","modified_gmt":"2026-06-10T11:58:16","slug":"12th-edition-of-rotary-rain-run-marathon-on-july-26","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/?p=112749","title":{"rendered":"12th edition of Rotary Rain Run marathon on July 26"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Goa Khabar : The 12<sup>th<\/sup> edition of the popular, Rotary Rain Run (RRR) marathon will be held on Sunday, July 26.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organised by the Rotary Club of Porvorim, the RRR marathon is the arguably, the only marathon race organised in the state of Goa in the monsoon season.&nbsp; Since its inception in 2015, RRR has grown into one of&nbsp;Goa\u2019s most anticipated annual events, attracting runners from across India and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Announcing this in a media release issued in the city on Wednesday, Avinash Parmar, chairman of the event said that RRR was focused on promoting&nbsp; fitness, community spirit, and social impact. \u201cSince its inception in 2015, RRR has grown into one of&nbsp;Goa\u2019s most anticipated annual events, attracting runners from across India and beyond,\u201d Parmar said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"351\" src=\"https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/09.06.2026-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-112691\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/09.06.2026-2.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/09.06.2026-2-256x300.jpg 256w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Parmar, every edition of RRR blends endurance with celebration \u2014 live music, energetic drummers along the route, enthusiastic volunteers, and a festival-like atmosphere at the venue including fun games for children and adults alike that has earned it the title of \u201cRunFest of Goa\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shephan Shaikh, co-chairperson of RRR said, \u201cRRR is not just a run. It is a&nbsp; movement for change.
