Positioned as a vibrant celebration of Goa\u2019s rich cultural legacy, this three-day festival will bring together live Goan music, traditional performances, fashion showcases, local cuisine, and community participation, offering both locals and visitors an immersive experience of Goa, beyond its beaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The festival will be inaugurated on May 8th in the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Shri. Pramod Sawant, Hon\u2019ble Chief Minister of Goa, along with key leaders and representatives from the tourism and cultural sectors including Shri. Rohan A. Khaunte, Hon\u2019ble Minister for Tourism<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking ahead of the festival, Shri. Rohan A. Khaunte, Hon\u2019ble Minister for Tourism, said: \u201cThe Goa Heritage Festival is a celebration of the soul of Goa\u2014its people, traditions, music, and culinary richness. Through initiatives like these, we are committed to showcasing Goa as a year-round, experience-driven destination that goes beyond its beaches. This festival reflects our vision of promoting regenerative tourism while strengthening community participation and cultural pride.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shri. Kedar J Naik, Chairman, GTDC, added: \u201cThe Goa Heritage Festival 2026 has been thoughtfully curated to bring together the many facets of Goa\u2019s heritage under one platform. From live performances to local cuisine and traditional art forms, the festival offers an engaging and immersive experience for all age groups.
