Goa Khabar : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has launched a scathing attack on the BJP, Congress, and MGP, alleging a “political setting” designed to mislead voters in the upcoming Ponda by-election. AAP leaders claimed that the three parties have entered into a secret alliance to ensure that power remains within their circle, regardless of the election outcome.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

AAP State President Valmiki Naik<\/strong>, along with Senior Vice President Sandesh Teleikar Dessai<\/strong>, General Secretary Adv. Surel Tilve<\/strong>, and Mahila Wing President Mamata Maben<\/strong>, addressed the media to expose what they termed a “tripartite nexus.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ‘Backdoor’ Strategy<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Valmiki Naik alleged that Chief Minister Pramod Sawant is fearful of a direct defeat and has therefore kept a “backdoor” open through the Congress candidate, Ketan Bhatikar. According to AAP, the Congress campaign is being managed by individuals who have direct ties to the ruling BJP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The Chief Minister is scared of losing. They are trying to field two BJP candidates in Ponda\u2014one officially on the Lotus symbol and another unofficially through the Congress,” Naik stated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Startling Allegations of Family Ties and Cross-Party Support<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

To back their claims of a nexus, AAP leaders highlighted specific instances of overlapping loyalties:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • The Congress-BJP Connection:<\/strong> AAP pointed out that the Congress campaign in-charge, John Pereira<\/strong>, is leading the charge for the opposition while his wife, Wilma Pereira<\/strong>, is a BJP Panch and a known supporter of the ruling party.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The MGP-Congress Link:<\/strong> Despite the MGP being in a formal alliance with the BJP at the state level, MGP Councillor Geetali Talaulikar<\/strong> is reportedly openly backing the Congress candidate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Call for Change<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    AAP leaders argued that these instances prove the BJP, Congress, and MGP are “three sides of the same coin,” working together to retain power by any means necessary. They urged the voters of Ponda to see through this “political drama” and reject the established parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    “The people of Ponda deserve an honest alternative. Don’t fall for this setting. It is time to sweep away this corruption and vote for the Jhadu (Broom)<\/strong>,” the party leaders appealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The allegations have stirred the political landscape in Ponda, as the by-election approaches, with AAP positioning itself as the only genuine opposition to the status quo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
