This session, originally scheduled for 14 days, was abruptly cut short to just seven sittings under the pretext of the Code of Conduct, culminating in the illegal passage of the budget,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\u201cWe were denied the opportunity to move cut motions on demands. How then can we question the government\u2019s reckless spending and unwanted projects being imposed on the people?\u201d Alemao questioned.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">He pointed out that in other states, Assembly sessions are held even during election periods. \u201cBut here, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and his 31 MLAs, including the Speaker, were afraid we would press for the introduction of Bills to scrap Section 39-A.
