Goa Khabar:<\/strong>The Aam Aadmi Party held a press conference in Ponda, strongly criticising the BJP government\u2019s so-called \u201cdoorstep delivery of governance,\u201d calling it a last-minute PR exercise ahead of elections and a reflection of five years of neglect.<\/div>\n

After the press conference AAP leaders visited the Kala Mandir and the reality of BJP\u2019s event was exposed on a Facebook live.<\/div>\n

AAP Goa State President Valmiki Naik said,<\/div>\n
\u201cAfter 2021, CM Pramod Sawant has now started Sarkar Tumchya Daari and reached Ponda \u2014 this itself shows that the government was missing for the last five years. Power has gone to the CM\u2019s head; now he is saying people should be grateful because the government has reached Ponda. BJP copied our doorstep delivery idea, but while AAP delivered governance, BJP has delivered only PR.\u201d<\/div>\n

AAP General Secretary Adv. Surel Tilve said the entire event was staged for optics,<\/div>\n
\u201cBJP\u2019s doorstep delivery is nothing but a PR event. All government offices are already in Ponda \u2014 they simply brought officers to Kala Mandir. What is the point of this? True doorstep delivery was done by AAP, where a helpline was launched, officials visited homes with prior intimation, documents were prepared in advance, and grievances were actually resolved. Here, officers didn\u2019t even have laptops or systems to register complaints. This proves it was only a PR stunt.\u201d<\/div>\n

AAP Senior Vice President Sandesh Teleikar-Dessai highlighted the collapse of healthcare in Ponda,<\/div>\n
\u201cPonda is crumbling due to failed governance. ID Hospital is facing shortages of doctors and equipment \u2014 even the CM has admitted this. Because of the Health Minister, young doctors are unwilling to join Goa\u2019s hospitals. AAP has provided more healthcare support to the people of Ponda through health camps than the BJP government. BJP woke up only before elections. They have constructed buildings, but inside they are hollow \u2014 no doctors, no equipment, no medicines.\u201d<\/div>\n

AAP Vice President Sunil Signapurkar said,<\/div>\n
\u201cBJP only wants to do politics and publicity. People of Ponda will teach this government a lesson for ignoring them for years.\u201d<\/div>\n
