The guests were warmly welcomed with roses, symbolising Goa\u2019s hospitality and cordial relations with international markets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As part of the programme, an engaging presentation on Goa\u2019s tourism offerings was delivered by Gavin Dias, General Manager, GTDC. The presentation highlighted Goa\u2019s diverse experiences, including cultural heritage, cuisine, adventure tourism, wellness, and premium hospitality. Connectivity to Goa via air, sea, rail, and road was also elaborated upon, along with information on the ease of travel through the e-visa facility.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hon\u2019ble Minister for Tourism, Rohan Khaunte stated,\u201cPoland is an important emerging market for Goa. We are encouraged by the growing interest and look forward to deepening engagement through improved connectivity, seamless travel processes, and diverse experiences that reflect the true spirit of Goa. Our endeavour is to ensure that every visitor has a safe, enriching, and memorable journey.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Director of Tourism, Kedar Naik said: \u201cGoa has been witnessing growing interest from the Polish market, and such visits play a key role in strengthening awareness and confidence among travellers.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The delegation was treated to a series of curated visual showcases, including the \u2018I Am Goa\u2019 video; \u2018Postcards from Goa\u2019 by National Geographic India with a focus on adventure experiences, food, etc; and a special video on the festivals of Goa. Visual highlights of iconic celebrations such as Carnaval and Shigmo generated keen interest among the visitors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The visit was facilitated by Ernest Dias, Chief Operating Officer of TCI and SITA, who played a key role in bringing the delegation to Goa. There is growing interest from the Polish market, particularly from Katowice and Warsaw, with the commencement of two flights operating every ten to eleven days using aircraft with a 189-seat capacity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Department of Tourism expressed optimism that this engagement will further strengthen Goa\u2019s presence in the Polish market and contribute to sustained international outreach.
