{"id":109090,"date":"2026-01-15T21:12:21","date_gmt":"2026-01-15T15:42:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/?p=109090"},"modified":"2026-01-15T21:12:21","modified_gmt":"2026-01-15T15:42:21","slug":"there-can-be-thousand-lies-but-there-is-only-one-truth-rohan-khaunte","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/?p=109090","title":{"rendered":"There can be thousand lies but there is only one truth : Rohan Khaunte"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Goa Khabar : <\/b><strong>Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte said that he has been clear and transparent in his statements on the Unity Mall project.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Khaunte said \u201cI have spoken transparently on this issue and have not made any false or misleading statements\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said that a political narrative is now being built around the project and that certain individuals are attempting to take advantage of the situation by making unfounded allegations.<\/p>\n<p>Responding to claims regarding personal real estate interests in the project area, Khaunte categorically denied the allegations. \u201cIf anyone claims that I own real estate in the project area, I challenge them to substantiate it. If such property exists, they are free to take half of it, and the remaining can be made available for locals of Chimbel,\u201d he said, asserting that the claims being made are baseless.<\/p>\n<p>Khaunte urged that the discourse move away from false narratives and focus instead on Goa\u2019s future and development priorities. He said the Unity Mall project was conceived in the interest of local residents of Chimbel as well as the overall development of the State.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis project is for the benefit of the people of Chimbel and for Goa.
