Organised by the Delhi based organisation, Craft and Artisans Revival, this week-long event will see as many as 80 rural artisans from over 20 states of India showcase their art and crafts for the people of Goa. This group\u00a0 includes several, national award winning crafts persons also.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The art and crafts on display will include intricate weaves and hand embroidery to traditional paintings, jewellery, pottery, and natural eco-crafts. Of families, who have kept an age-old tradition alive, of hands that shape beauty from the simplest of materials, and of communities that still believe in the art of slow, mindful creation,\u201d says Aamir Khan of Craft and Artisans Revival, an organisation set up to preserve India\u2019s craft heritage and to support the artisans who sustain it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Visitors to the fair can look forward to interactive demonstrations conducted by the artisans, live folk music and even puppet shows.
