Venzy Viegas was invited by the Goan Cultural Centre\u2013Kuwait as a guest for the World Goa Day 2025 celebrations held in Kuwait. The event brought together members of the vibrant Goan diaspora to celebrate the state\u2019s unique identity, culture, and unity.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">During his visit, Capt. Venzy Viegas, along with Mr. Carmo Santos, President of the Goan Cultural Centre\u2013Kuwait, met Mr. Sanjay Muluka, Charge d\u2019Affairs and Officiating Ambassador, Embassy of India\u2013Kuwait.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">At the meeting, Capt. Venzy Viegas presented a three-point agenda to strengthen Goa\u2013Kuwait relations and enhance people-to-people and tourism exchange:<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"an1\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/fonts.gstatic.com\/s\/e\/notoemoji\/16.0\/0031_fe0f_20e3\/72.png\" alt=\"1\ufe0f\u20e3\" data-emoji=\"1\ufe0f\u20e3\" aria-label=\"1\ufe0f\u20e3\" \/>\u00a0Direct Flight Between Kuwait and Goa \u2013 Capt. Venzy proposed the introduction of a direct flight to ease travel for thousands of Goans living and working in Kuwait, making family visits and tourism more convenient and affordable.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"an1\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/fonts.gstatic.com\/s\/e\/notoemoji\/16.0\/0032_fe0f_20e3\/72.png\" alt=\"2\ufe0f\u20e3\" data-emoji=\"2\ufe0f\u20e3\" aria-label=\"2\ufe0f\u20e3\" \/>\u00a0Tourism &amp; Event Collaboration \u2013 He suggested engaging tourism professionals and event managers from Kuwait to participate in the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, promoting cross-cultural exchange and boosting Goa\u2019s international tourism profile.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"an1\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/fonts.gstatic.com\/s\/e\/notoemoji\/16.0\/0033_fe0f_20e3\/72.png\" alt=\"3\ufe0f\u20e3\" data-emoji=\"3\ufe0f\u20e3\" aria-label=\"3\ufe0f\u20e3\" \/>\u00a0Tourism Partnership Between Governments \u2013 Capt. Venzy proposed facilitating cooperation between the Government of Goa and the Government of Kuwait to jointly promote each other\u2019s tourism potential and explore mutually beneficial opportunities in the travel and hospitality sector.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Speaking at the World Goa Day celebrations, Capt. Venzy Viegas said:<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cIt was an absolute pleasure to meet Goans abroad. I request all Goans in Kuwait and across the world \u2014 let\u2019s together preserve Goa\u2019s Asmutai and build a Goa of our dreams for our Fudle Pilge Khatir (future generations).\u201d<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Capt. Venzy also thanked the Goan Cultural Centre\u2013Kuwait and its President Carmo Santos for their hospitality and for bringing Goans together on a common platform.
