The monsoon conditions with high waves and winds made the rescue challenging, according to Drishti Marine.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Drishti Marine lifesavers are skilled in water-based rescues involving challenging weather conditions and are trained to conduct rescues in all kinds of weather.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-105844\" src=\"https:\/\/goakhabar-com.preview.jikut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/21165-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"227\" height=\"142\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Speaking to the lifesavers Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte said, \u201cI extend my heartfelt congratulations to the lifesavers for their bravery and commendable service. Rescuing 27 fishermen was a truly heroic act and stands as an inspiring example of selfless dedication. Keep up the excellent work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cSea-based rescues can be challenging and require highly skilled personnel to conduct the rescues. Anybody involved in a rescue operation should be adequately trained in sea-based rescues and handling medical emergencies. A\u00a0 wrong move \u2013 even though well intentioned \u2013 can put the lives of the rescuer and the victim at risk. We urge the members of the fishing community and persons who may be a witness at the time of a rescue effort, to work strictly under the guidance of the Drishti Marine lifesavers present. We urge good samaritans to not take matters into their hands for their own safety\u201d, said Navin Awasthi, CEO, Drishti Marine.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Drishti Marine lifesavers Lovu Gaonkar, Samir Gaonkar, Sunil Velip, Sashikant Jadhav, Satish Gaonkar, Santendra Velip, and\u00a0 Kapil Velip were felicitated at the hands of the Hon.
