Goa Khabar : The Aam Aadmi Party has ramped up its \u201cBJPChe Gundaraj, Goyank Naka\u201d campaign across Goa, calling out the BJP\u2019s growing lawlessness and culture of fear. The campaign, which took place in Curchorem, Curtorim, and Assagao, highlighted the rise in violent crimes like assaults, kidnappings, and gang wars under the BJP rule.<\/strong><\/p>\n

AAP leaders, including State President Amit Palekar, Roque Mascarenhas, Patricia Fernandes, James Fernandes, and Pujan Malvankar sharply criticized the BJP for nurturing a network of goons, making the state unsafe for opposition leaders, activists, and ordinary citizens alike. \u201cNo one feels protected under BJP’s rule. It’s time Goans unite against this culture of fear,\u201d said Palekar.<\/p>\n

Patricia Fernandes blamed Chief Minister Pramod Sawant for the escalating lawlessness, saying crime rates have skyrocketed under his leadership with no effective action to restore public safety. \u201cThe state machinery seems to support, not control, this chaos,\u201d Fernandes added.<\/p>\n

Pujan Malvankar emphasized that Goans want clean politics, not \u2018gundaraj\u2019. He said the party\u2019s campaign is a call for a better, safer future. In Curtorim, the rally gained momentum as commuters honked and cheered in solidarity. Roque Mascarenhas called for unity, stressing that Goa cannot progress under a cloud of fear.<\/p>\n

From Curchorem, James Fernandes decried the worsening situation of gang wars and violent attacks that have tarnished Goa\u2019s reputation. \u201cThis is not the Goa we know. It\u2019s time to put an end to this,\u201d he said, rallying supporters to join the campaign for a safer, law-abiding Goa.<\/p>\n
