The perpetrators of this cowardly act must be apprehended and brought to justice. Goa is witnessing a disturbing trend of &#8216;goondagiri\u2019 by assailants protected by police. Individuals who speak out against wrongdoing are targeted. We cannot tolerate such incidents that silence whistle-blowers and undermine the voice of dissent,\u201d Alemao said.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-105724\" src=\"https:\/\/goakhabar-com.preview.jikut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/21165.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"227\" height=\"142\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\u201cHome Ministry and Intelligence agencies have failed miserably. The earlier attack on Rama Kankonkar outside the court, followed by police inaction, clearly indicates that law enforcement is shielding the perpetrators. This raises serious concerns about the collapse of law and order in the state,\u201d Alemao said.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\u201cMultiple times we have said that there is no fear of law to miscreants as some crimes are taking place with the help of police. Chief Minister should come clear whether people of the state are safe or not. Such criminal incidents will create fear among the people,\u201d Alemao said.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\u201cEyewitnesses claim the assailants were having weapons, which deterred them from intervening to rescue Rama Kankonkar. Goa has turned into Gundaraj.
