As per existing protocol, which specifically deals with marine creatures being washed ashore, the Forest Department authorities were formally informed about the incident.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Drishti Marine lifesavers are the designated first responders to emergencies related to marine life on Goa\u2019s beaches. After Forest Department personnel arrived at the spot and formally examined and identified the carcass, our on-duty Drishti Marine lifesaver assisted them in the proper burial of the carcass, after
