This year, we are delighted to have returning and new participants, including respected public figures such as the TN Health Minister for Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Ma Subramanian, and Goa\u2019s DGP Alok Kumar. Their presence reinforces the event\u2019s social importance and reflects its popularity,&#8221; said Avinash Singh Parmar, chairman of the Rotary Rain Run.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-104163\" src=\"https:\/\/goakhabar-com.preview.jikut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/17.07.2025-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"288\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cEvery year, the Rotary Rain Run has been instrumental in creating awareness about women\u2019s health and the Prakash Cancer Aid Project. There is a higher chance of curing diseases such as breast and cervical cancer among women, if they are detected early, something that the Project focuses on,\u201d according to Nikhil Shah, chairman, Prakash Cancer Aid Project.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Rotary Rain Run 2025 will commence at the Sports Authority of Goa (SAG) Athletics Stadium in Bambolim, with participants competing in various categories: the two km Fun Walk, five km Dream Run, and the 10 km and 21 km timed races. Senior citizens will once again have their dedicated two km Seniority Walk, introduced in the previous edition. Kids at the venue can also frolic in the specially created Fun Zone at the race\u2019s end point.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Runners in the 21 km timed category will turn around at Miramar Circle, following a scenic route through Bambolim and Dona Paula, showcasing panoramic views of Goa\u2019s coastline and heritage landmarks.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cRunning is not just about endurance; it\u2019s about health, purpose and community.
