Salvador do Mundo area of the Porvorim Constituency. The Inauguration of the water tank, executed by M\/s. Wibro Construction involved the construction of a 650m\u00b3 overhead reservoir (OHR) at Dhonwada, along with a 300m\u00b3 sump and the provision of a 200mm diameter pumping main. This initiative is set to alleviate water supply shortages in the region, benefiting approximately 2,800 residents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100410\" src=\"https:\/\/goakhabar-com.preview.jikut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/14.02.2025-278x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"278\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/14.02.2025-278x300.jpg 278w, https:\/\/www.goakhabar.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/14.02.2025.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 278px) 100vw, 278px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Speaking at the inauguration, Hon\u2019ble Minister for Tourism, Rohan Khaunte, emphasized the government&#8217;s commitment to improving essential infrastructure in Porvorim. He stated &#8220;Water is the lifeline of every community, and ensuring an uninterrupted and reliable supply is a priority for this government. This project is a testament to our continuous efforts to enhance public utilities and provide sustainable solutions for our citizens. With the commissioning of this reservoir, we are addressing long-standing issues in the tail-end areas of the distribution network, ensuring equitable water supply for all.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project is designed to supply water for four hours daily to the affected areas, significantly improving the quality of life for residents.
