 Exhibits works of Five internationally acclaimed designers
 Collection 2018 carries forward the success of Collection 2017 with addition flavour to luxury merged with cement

Goa: Dalmia Cement, the company that has always been known for its innovation,
is back with second season of ‘Craft Béton’ launched at Serendipity Art Festival 2017 today. Craft Béton
exhibits designer cement creations for homes and has revolutionized perception for cement since
launch of its first collection in April earlier this year.
Four internationally-acclaimed designers crafted and displayed over 48 high-end luxury products –
ranging from lifestyle, jewelry to home accents and even furniture. The Craft Béton Collection 2018
features designs by Iti Tyagi (India), Somesh Singh (India), Cynthia Mijres Rodrigue`s (Mexico), Alan Saga
(Mexico) and Miroslaw Baca (Poland) who have set new benchmarks by exploring the natural
advantages of cement. The products include a dash of new texture, colors, density and tenacity of the
world’s greenest cement.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Puneet Dalmia, Managing Director, Dalmia Bharat Group said, “Craft
Béton, is an initiative that endeavors to converge art and luxury that is functional at the same time.
After an enthusiastic response to our first collection, we are delighted to introduce an additional range
of innovative art upon popular demand. We are looking forward to reaching out to more customers via
our online store and showing them how magical cement can be.”
Collection 2017 marked the phenomenal success for the path-breaking art pieces. The products received
rave reviews from design enthusiasts and critics alike. Drawing on their myriad backgrounds like fashion,
product and industrial design and sculpture, featuring designers created four capsule collections in the
previous season that changed the way one perceived Béton – the French word for concrete. With
Collection 2018, the artists are back with 48 new handcrafted creations.
“Dalmia Bharat has been instrumental in the perception shift of cement and its use. Craft Béton is
perhaps the finest expression of a product which is otherwise mundane and lifeless. We attribute our
success to the perfect marriage of aesthetics, functionality and aspirational value.” added Mr. Sundeep
Kumar, Executive Director, Corporate Affairs and Communications, Dalmia Bharat Cement.
Designer and Art curator Ms Iti Tyagi said, “I am delighted to be associated with Craft Béton second time
in a row. We have evolved to bring in a greater sense of maturity, innovation and practicality into our
new collection. It has been gratifying to explore the creative possibilities of cement and how it can be
combined with any material to create any shape and achieve a durable result. We eagerly look forward
to the next season.”
Craft Béton exhibited in Goa between Dec 14-22 at the Old GMC Complex. The exhibition will also
planned for Mumbai from 12-14 th January 2018 at the Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI) and

for Delhi from 29th – 31st January at Bikaner House. All Craft Béton creations crafted by internationally
acclaimed artists are available for purchase online at www.craftbeton.com
