Goa Tourism to promote & celebrate Goa’s rich heritage of the Three Kings Feast held on January 6, 2025

Goa khabar The Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) and the Department of Tourism will be promoting and celebrating the Three Kings Feast, a cherished tradition of Goa that blends with the region’s rich cultural heritage. The announcement was made by Dr. Ganesh Gaonkar, Chairman of GTDC, during a press conference held on December 20 at Paryatan Bhavan.

 

The Three Kings Feast, will be held on January 6, 2025, in the picturesque villages of Cansaulim, Chandor, and Reis de Magos, attracting both locals and tourists. The day also includes special masses and lively cultural festivities, showcasing Goa’s unique traditions.

 

Attending the press conference were Shri Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, Director of Tourism and Managing Director of GTDC; Shri Gavin Dias, General Manager of GTDC; and Shri Deepak Narvekar, Deputy General Manager of GTDC.

Further speaking about the Three Kings Feast  he stated that the Feast is immediately after the end of Saint Francis Xavier Exposition, which concludes on January 5 , 2025, Whereby the tourists can also witness the three kings fest at any of the three locations. Dr. Gaonkar emphasized that the combination of these two major events offers visitors a holistic cultural and spiritual journey. GTDC aims to leverage this opportunity to present Goa as a destination that celebrates its heritage with grandeur.

 

GTDC has planned an extensive promotional campaign for Three Kings Feast to ensure maximum awareness and participation. Dr. Gaonkar detailed the Corporation’s efforts to launch a robust online campaign across social media platforms and tourism websites. The campaign will include engaging content such as videos, testimonials, and interactive posts to highlight the significance of the Feast. Collaborations with travel influencers and bloggers will also be a key component, as they share personal experiences to reach diverse audiences.

 

Further, GTDC is partnering with local hotels and travel agencies to create attractive feast packages for the Three Kings Feast  offering visitors a seamless and immersive experience of Goa’s cultural richness. Dr. Gaonkar also announced plans to engage local and international media, inviting them to cover the event and ensuring its visibility in travel publications and news outlets worldwide.

 

Dr. Gaonkar urged locals and tourists to attend the Feast in large numbers, emphasizing its importance in preserving Goa’s traditions and showcasing its cultural legacy.

 

GTDC also plans to introduce special packages for the Republic Day 2025

 

To encourage tourists to visit Goa for the Republic Day 2025 celebrations, Chairman GTDC Dr. Ganesh Gaonkar announced that special packages will be curated for the occasion at GTDC residencies and hotels. Visitors are invited to stay and immerse themselves in the upcoming Republic Day festivities on January 26, 2025, while taking advantage of various hotel packages available during the holiday season.
