Goa Khabar : United Ucassaim Sports and Cultural Club comfortably defeated Youth Sports Club of Colvale with a 3-0 victory in the GFA Third Division League at Moira ground on Friday. Leon Kerketta opened the scoring, followed by Rohit Harijan’s penalty in the first half, and Roger Miranda added a third in the second half to complete the win.
Ucassaim dominated the first half, relentlessly seeking a breakthrough. Their efforts were rewarded in the 15th minute when Leon Kerketta fired in the opener. Ucassaim then doubled their lead in the 41st minute with a penalty converted by Rohit Harijan, giving them a two-goal cushion at halftime.
Continuing their aggressive play in the second half, Ucassaim further extended their lead in the 51st minute as Roger Miranda scored from the edge of the box. Despite Colvale’s attempts to create scoring opportunities, Ucassaim’s defense remained resolute, securing a well-deserved 3-0 victory.
