5 arrested by Anjuna Police for theft of Sun Burn music festival passes worth Rs. 82 lakhs.
Goa Khabar:Anjuna police have arrested 05 persons for committing theft of sunburn Music festival entry passes.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi on 29.12.2023 Mr. Arvind Kumar , C / o S.M. Traders lodged a complaint for committing theft of 600 Sunburn 2023 ‘ passes all W / Rs . 82,50,000 /-.
In this connection an FIR under section 381 IPC was registered and immediately investigation was taken up . During the course of investigation , teams were formed who identified and apprehended accused namely , 1 ) Mr . Shivam Chari , 2 ) Mahesh Gawas , 3 ) Manjit Gawas , 4 ) Yashin Mulla and 5 ) Mr. Sidhhanagouda Hanchinal all R / o Ponda Goa. All accused persons are employees of the complainant and recovery of stolen passes all W / Rs . 60,00,000 / – approx . from the instance of accused persons was done successfully.
The Police team headed by Shri . Prashal Dessai , Police Inspector of Anjuna Police Station , PSI , Ashish B. Porob , PSI , Sahil Warang , PC Abhishek Kasar , PC Shanu Gaonkar , PC Shambha Shetgaonkar , Mayur Ghadi , all attached to Anjuna Police Station , carried out the investigation under tthe supervision of Shri Jivba Dalvi , SDPO Mapusa and Shri . Nidhin Valsan , IPS, SP North .
