Goa Khabar: The North Goa District Election Office will organise special enrolment camps on October 7, 8 and 9, 2026, to facilitate the inclusion of new voters and eligible citizens whose names have been left out of the electoral roll.
According to a press note issued by the Collector and District Election Officer, North Goa District, the initiative follows directions from the Election Commission of India (ECI) communicated through the Chief Electoral Officer, Goa.
The Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) of North Goa District have been directed to instruct Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to conduct the special enrolment camps at designated polling stations, higher secondary schools, colleges, panchayats and municipalities across the district.
Camps at 30 Locations
The special camps will be organised at 30 locations across North Goa, covering areas including Mapusa, Panaji, Valpoi, Sanquelim, Taleigao, Pernem, Mandrem, Tuem, Bicholim, Poriem, Candolim, Porvorim, Sangolda, Cujira, Pilar, Thivim and Corlim.

Eligible Citizens Urged to Make Use of Camps
The District Election Office has appealed to all eligible citizens and new voters to take advantage of the special camps and ensure that their names are included in the electoral roll.
The initiative is aimed particularly at people who are eligible to vote but have not yet been enrolled, as well as new voters seeking inclusion in the electoral roll.
The election authorities said the exercise is intended to facilitate greater participation of eligible citizens in the democratic process by ensuring their inclusion in the electoral roll.
