Goa Khabar: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated a Free Mega Super-Speciality Health Camp organised by the Goa College of Physiotherapy in association with RG Hospitals, with the initiative aimed at providing specialised healthcare services, medical consultations and early diagnosis to the public.
According to information shared about the programme, more than 1,000 patients registered for the health camp, indicating a strong response to the free healthcare initiative.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of making preventive healthcare and specialist medical services more accessible to people. He noted that health camps of this nature can help citizens obtain specialist consultations and facilitate early detection of health conditions.
The camp brought together doctors, medical professionals, physiotherapy students and other healthcare personnel to provide consultations and related medical services to registered patients.
Dr. Sawant also expressed appreciation for the doctors, medical professionals, students and organisers involved in conducting the camp and acknowledged their contribution towards providing healthcare services to the community.
The initiative formed part of efforts to bring specialised medical care closer to citizens while creating greater awareness about preventive healthcare, timely consultation and early diagnosis.
