Goa Khabar: The Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) held an organisational meeting with its members from the Siolim constituency on Thursday, focusing on strengthening the party structure and increasing grassroots participation.

The meeting was chaired by RGP National President and MLA Viresh Borkar, who reviewed the functioning of the party organisation in the constituency and discussed the way forward with local members and workers.

Key issues discussed during the meeting included organisational accountability, discipline, grassroots participation and strengthening coordination among party workers.

Borkar said that political change required more than slogans and stressed the need for a strong organisation that remained connected with people at the grassroots.

“We are not simply changing the system, we are reloading it. We are strengthening our organisation from the grassroots and preparing ourselves for the larger responsibility of protecting Goa and the interests of Goans,” Borkar said.

The party said it would continue to focus on strengthening its constituency-level organisation and empowering its workers. The meeting also formed part of RGP’s broader efforts to consolidate its grassroots presence across Goa.

The party reiterated its position that its political activities would remain focused on safeguarding the interests of Goa and Goans.
