Goa Khabar: A special 3-km Walkathon for senior citizens will be organised in Sanvordem on Sunday, August 23, 2026, to mark Senior Citizen Day and promote active and healthy living among the elderly.

The event is being organised by the Sau. Suhasini Arsekar Samarpan Trust in association with the Chaitanya Senior Brigade.

The Walkathon will begin at 6:30 am from Guddemol Junction and conclude at the Saibaba Temple, Ambeudak, covering a distance of approximately three kilometres.
