Free health camp benefits 72 senior citizens in Margao

Goa Khabar : The NAPCAIM Goa Chapter successfully organised its monthly Free Health Camp for senior citizens aged 60 years and above at Siddhivinayak Temple, Gogol Housing Board, Margao, on Sunday.

Held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the camp benefited 72 senior citizens, providing comprehensive healthcare services free of cost.

The camp offered consultations in General Medicine, Ayurveda and Allopathy, along with Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Diabetic Check-ups, Dietary Counselling, and the distribution of free medicines. The initiative received an encouraging response from the elderly, who appreciated the quality healthcare services made easily accessible.

The health camp was organised under the leadership of Dr. Vallabh Dhaimodkar and the guidance of Dr. Sneha Bhagwat, with the support of doctors, therapists, healthcare professionals, and volunteers from the NAPCAIM Goa Chapter.

Organisers said the initiative reflects NAPCAIM’s continued commitment to preventive healthcare, early diagnosis, and holistic well-being for senior citizens. They also expressed gratitude to the management of Siddhivinayak Temple, volunteers, and all healthcare professionals who contributed to the success of the programme.

The Free Health Camp is conducted on the third Sunday of every month by the NAPCAIM Goa Chapter in association with the Goa College of Physiotherapy and the Goa College of Naturopathy and Yogic Science, ensuring regular and accessible healthcare support for senior citizens across the region.
