Foundation Stone Laid for New Futsal Ground in Dongrim

Goa Khabar: MLA Viresh Borkar on Thursday, July 09, 2026, laid the foundation stone for a new futsal ground at Dongrim in the St. Andre Constituency, marking the beginning of a sports infrastructure project aimed at promoting youth engagement and encouraging sporting activities in the area.

The foundation stone ceremony was attended by Zilla Panchayat Member Trupti Vishwanath Bakal, Panch members, and a large number of local residents, who welcomed the initiative.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Viresh Borkar emphasized the importance of developing quality sports infrastructure to provide young people with better recreational facilities and opportunities to nurture their talent.
