Goa Khabar : MLA Krishna Salkar has clarified that the Mahjo Flat Scheme is not an election-driven initiative, but a measure aimed at resolving long-pending ownership issues faced by residents of old housing societies in Goa.
Speaking to the media, Salkar said the scheme has been introduced to address ownership-related issues in housing societies, particularly those established during the 1960s and 1970s, where many residents continue to face legal and documentation challenges.
He urged all eligible beneficiaries to take advantage of the scheme and complete the necessary formalities within the stipulated deadline.
Salkar reiterated that the objective of the Mahjo Flat Scheme is to provide a long-term solution to ownership issues and ensure that eligible residents receive the benefits offered under the scheme.
