Sanguem Records Highest Rainfall in Goa with 96.5 mm; Heavy Showers Continue
Goa Khabar: Sanguem recorded the highest rainfall in Goa with 96.5 mm during the 24-hour period ending at 8:30 AM on July 7, 2026, according to the latest rainfall data.
Sanguem was the only location in the state to receive heavy rainfall (64.5 mm to 115.5 mm), while no place recorded very heavy or extremely heavy rainfall during the period.
Several parts of Goa witnessed moderate rainfall, including Valpoi (49.8 mm), Dharbandora (42.4 mm), Sankhali (37.8 mm), Ponda (35 mm), Quepem (35 mm), Ela (Old Goa) (22.2 mm), Pernem (21.2 mm) and Canacona (18.8 mm).
Light rainfall was reported in Mapusa (14.2 mm), Panaji (14 mm) and Mormugao (6.4 mm), while Dabolim recorded 0.4 mm of very light rainfall.
