DDSSY is poorly designed & only covers 447 procedures
Goa Khabar:AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal criticised the BJP government’s poorly designed healthcare model, stating that the DDSSY scheme excludes several crucial medical procedures and provides inadequate financial coverage for families battling serious illnesses.
Drawing a comparison with AAP’s healthcare model in Punjab, Kejriwal demanded that the DDSSY cover be increased to ₹10 lakh per family, all eligibility restrictions be removed, and the scheme be redesigned to cover a comprehensive range of medical procedures and treatments instead of being limited to just 447 procedures.
