Valpoi Records Highest Rainfall in Goa with 66.4 mm
Goa Khabar: Valpoi recorded the highest rainfall in Goa with 66.4 mm during the 24-hour period ending at 8:30 AM on July 4, 2026, according to the latest rainfall data.
Valpoi was the only location in the state to receive heavy rainfall (64.5 mm to 115.5 mm), while no place recorded very heavy or extremely heavy rainfall during the period.
Several areas experienced moderate rainfall, including Sankhali (44.6 mm), Dharbandora (38.3 mm), Sanguem (33.3 mm), Ponda (30.8 mm), Quepem (28 mm), Mapusa (22.2 mm) and Margao (16.8 mm).
Light rainfall was recorded at Dabolim (14.8 mm), Pernem (12.6 mm), Mormugao (10.6 mm), Ela (Old Goa) (5.8 mm), Panaji (4.2 mm) and Canacona (4.2 mm).
No location in Goa reported very heavy or extremely heavy rainfall during the 24-hour observation period.
