Preparations Reviewed for Goa Legislative Assembly Election 2027

Goa Khabar:In view of the ensuing Goa Legislative Assembly Election 2027, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Collector & District Magistrate, South Goa District, to assess the preparedness and review the election management plan for the smooth and efficient conduct of the election process in South Goa and Kushavati Districts.

The meeting focused on ensuring effective coordination among all concerned departments and timely implementation of election-related activities as per the guidelines and instructions issued by the Election Commission of India. Various aspects including law and order management, EVM management, manpower deployment, training, material management, SVEEP activities, communication planning, media monitoring, IT applications, accessibility measures, transport arrangements, medical facilities, election expenditure monitoring, and other election-related activities were reviewed.

For smooth conduct of the election process, the following officers have been designated as Nodal Officers and Assistant Nodal Officers for different election-related activities:
