Sevadal Reorganisation Discussed at South Goa and Kushavati District Meeting

Goa Khabar: A meeting of the South Goa and Kushavati District Sevadal was held at the South Goa District Congress Office in the presence of Central Observers for the Navnirman Sanghatan Prakriya (Sanghatan Sarjan Abhiyan), Mrs. Jyoti Khanna, General Secretary of Sevadal, and Mr. B. N. Shinde.

The meeting was attended by State Observer Mrs. Kalpana Joshi, State Chief Organiser Mr. Rajan Ghate, Deputy Chief Organiser Mr. K. Namsikar, South Goa District Congress President Mr. Assis Noronha, and other office-bearers including Mr. Socorro Seby Menezes, Mr. Balakrishna Maherkar, Mrs. Rosa Anthonet Dias, Mrs. Maria Rebello, and Hyacinth D’Sa.

The gathering focused on the reorganisation of the Sevadal as part of the ongoing organisational strengthening process. During the meeting, the names of members present were recorded, and discussions were held on their respective responsibilities within the organisation. Participants also deliberated on various initiatives through which the Sevadal can contribute towards strengthening the Congress organisation at the grassroots level.

In a separate interaction, the Central Observers met South Goa District Congress President Assis Noronha to discuss the functioning and future plans of the Sevadal in South Goa. Noronha assured the observers of his full support and cooperation in further strengthening the organisation.

Meanwhile, a meeting of the North Goa District and Madai District Sevadal has been convened at the North Goa District Congress Office in Mapusa on June 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting is expected to continue discussions on organisational restructuring and strengthening of the Sevadal network across the state.
